Well-preserved Dinky Display stands are always a particularly welcome sight! Even better when filled with Dinky Toys!
This fine stand dates from mid-1960’s – 1970 with the familiar advertisement from this period ‘Always something new from Dinky’ labels complete, bright and intact and covering the outer rim of the wooden base which can rotate, so enabling eager eyes to view the full current range of Dinky Toys in the shop!
Comes complete with 24 perspex containers and a central metal pole with an attachment at the top for this original colourful Dinky Toys card sign. Light wear (largely where it affixes to the attachment). Measures approx 62cms x 31cms including the sign.
One of the little metal legs lacks its white plastic tip now.
Even rarer to find a Dinky Point of sale stand with its original packing case. This one was destined for California. Light wear, taping etc.
We surmise that it was never used. Comes complete with four sturdy card internal packing blocks.
A wonderful addition to any Dinky collection.
