Notes
This early issue has such a vibrant all red finish with maroon ridged wheels. Pleasing lustre – and not an easy find.
Shiny base with small print and ‘railed’ detail. Without ‘FORD SEV+DAN’ cast to the underside of the roof.
A little mark or two to the all-original paint finish and note that the inside surface of one wheel is poorly-formed. Couple of light tyre flat spots.
The scarce early box has the product number ‘170’ in a black oval (later this would be in a red oval). Note too that this is not a dual-numbered box, so 139A is not printed. Correct colour spot. Light wear and a very small edge cut to one end flap.
