Issued between 1955-57, this is a striking Dinky Tanker with a fine and vibrant original paint finish throughout with intact ladder, bright baseplate and spare wheel.
Deep ‘REGENT’ letters are virtually complete – complete on both sides. Makes a lovely display piece – and worth noting this item has no retouching.
Tiny mark or two to the white stripe on both sides (always vulnerable, and this model has fared better than most).
Rear transfer is bright, fresh and virtually complete.
Nick to the 20 mph label at a rear wheel arch.
Occasional little mark to the paint finish including at the front number-plate section. .
The striped Supertoys box is clean and complete with bright colours throughout and that includes the portion of the deep blue base not covered by the lid. Small part-puncture to the lid caused by raised roof details.
