Issued 1948-52, this is a scarce British heavyweight Foden Platform Lorry is finished in green, grey and red, with a red fuel tank. Beautifully constructed, this was part of a small range of diecast constructional models made between 1948-52 by this British manufacturer. Sold with the necessary tools to take apart and rebuild, this Foden model measures 32cms x 9.5cms. approx. With Shackleton decorative transfer behind the cab notably complete.

Complete with spare wheel stowed underneath.
a few tiny marks including on the bed. Note there is a flake of paint on one wheel arch and a couple of small raised paint areas nearby that may flake off.
Especially difficult to find with its distinctive sturdy colourful card box. A difficult version to find in this patterned green Temporary Pack with informative end label. A little wear particularly at edges as you might expect. Rare to find with a piece of the original sturdy corrugated buff packing paper. A little rusting at staples. Factory stamp on base ‘GREEN’ denoting colour of model. No seam tears or repairs.
Original tools and key with plain buff card tray.
8-Ton Dyson Trailer is finished in green, grey & red with a complete ‘Dyson’ transfer. Very near mint condition. End flap box is complete (with wear) although note that some internal end flaps are detached but present.
