Notes

A beauty and not an easy find with the rivet (not bolt) fixing.
This attractive Dinky commercial truck was issued in several different colour finishes – this particular version has an all original deep blue cab and chassis, mid-blue back with working, intact hinged tailboard, and matching grooved wheels.
Presents so well:

Hard to find a mark to the paint finish, although note the little traces of wax polish that remain in some crevices. Original light grey tyres are well-shaped. Stamped 418 on the base.
The yellow Dinky Toys box is complete and brightly coloured with no splits, tears or repairs. Minor age wear.
