Notes
One of the most difficult and sought-after Corgi Gift Sets.
The set comprises:
1) Corgi 224 Bentley Continental Sports Saloon. Very near mint condition with a strikingly lustrous finish and bright chrome parts intact bonnet emblem (of course!). Few minor marks only. Box is crisp and complete with minor wear only.
2) Corgi 225 Austin Seven. Near mint with the occasional little mark to the paint and a few little touch-ins. Box is clean, bright and fresh-looking.
3) Corgi 229 Chevrolet Corvair. Very near mint. Few tiny marks only. Crisp box has light wear.
4) Corgi 234 Ford Consul Classic. Near mint plus condition with one little retouch. Bright box (tiny wear).
5) Corgi 419 Ford Zephyr Motorway Patrol. With blue roof light, perfect ‘POLICE’ transfer and straight intact aerial. Very near mint condition, although close inspection will find the occasional little extra dab of later white paint. Complete with packing card. A little box edge wear and a small tear.
6) 3 × 601 Batley “Leofric” Garages Kits. Colourful card boxes have tiniest wear. Bagged with Instructions inside.

This remarkable set comes with the accessories: Instructions, mat, glue, paints and paint brush.
Paint case is fresh, clean and bright , with the near-inevitable little tears to the delicate perspex inner.
Large sturdy outer box is an excellent, brightly-coloured example.
Complete and vividly-coloured paper label. Very light wear only – hard to find this good. Couple of light stains – but surely one of the best surviving examples. The outer box is always the most prone to suffering wear over the years.
A notable addition to any Corgi collection. A very difficult find indeed.
