Notes
Such a vivid finish on this scarce British heavyweight Foden Platform Lorry issued 1948-52, Bright yellow, grey and red. Beautifully constructed, this was part of a small range of diecast constructional models made between 1948-52 by this British manufacturer. Sold with the necessary tools to take apart and rebuild, this Foden model measures 32cms x 9.5cms. approx.
Complete with spare wheel stowed underneath. Clockwork function works. Occasional little mark to the paint and note that one cab door has been repainted at some time.Couple of extra dabs elsewhere too.
Especially difficult to find with its distinctive sturdy colourful card box. Some wear as you might expect (rubbing, scuffing grubbiness and marking). One lid corner has a tape repair visible on the inside of the box lid.
Some original tools with plain buff card box and key.
8-Ton Dyson Trailer is finished in matching colours with a complete ‘Dyson’ transfer. Couple of minor marks. Very near mint.
