Notes
This 1st issue example is in all original, close to mint condition. Lovely and unmistakeable silky matt paint finish (few of these have survived, most were gloss finish).
Suspension is no longer present on the rear wheels (common fault). The model does not sag to one side, thankfully. The car sits fine and straight. Note the wear to one tyre in particular and also note that the rear flame does not pulsate. Vivid blue screens, both seated figures of Batman and Robin, bright chrome to launching tubes and cockpit, vivid Bathubs and Bat logos on both sides. Note that the gold colour has never been applied so the background of the bat logos. Intact aerial. A few very small marks to the paint finish.
Card inner is bright and clean with just a couple of little wheel slot tears.
Reverse:
The Secret Instruction Packet has been opened (small tear). It contains all the original accessories: Instructions, a full sprue of fluorescent red rockets and badge. Additional Features Slip is included.
The colourfully illustrated outer box is vivid and complete. Minor age/handling wear includes a little tear.
Wrap-around card packing piece.
A scarce and all-original Corgi iconic item to add to your collection.
