Corgi 1137
Corgi 1137 Ford Tilt Cab 'H' with Detachable Trailer "Express Service". Early spun wheels issue with LIGHT GREY wing mirrors. Near mint plus/boxed, with packing sleeve. From The Sheepcote Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1966-69, this Ford articulated truck is in very close to mint condition. This truck just gleams! Complete with both wing mirrors intact (including the little reflective ‘mirror’ pieces), straight horns on the cab roof, and perfect “EXPRESS SERVICE” detailing on both sides of the bright silver, untarnished sliding doors. So eye-catching. With light grey plastic parts (usually a deep grey colour).
No mechanic figure.
Earlier issue with shaped spun (not detailed cast) wheels.
Few small marks at the rear mostly. Little loss of colour to the front extremities of the roof horns.
The bright pictorial card plinth on which the model sits has strong vivid colours. Most still have the push-out tabs in place. Very minor wear.
The pictorial end flap box is complete, clean and bright. A little wear now. Old tape at one end which held the end flaps shut. Couple of little pieces of tape besides. Couple of handling tears.
With card packing sleeve.
