Corgi 200
Corgi 200 Ford Consul Saloon. Very near mint/boxed. Scarce cream issue from The Pennsylvanian Collection.
Notes
Issued in 1956, this Ford Consul is finished in cream. In fresh, original condition with flat spun hubs and a shiny baseplate. Simple clean lines and a shining cream finish on this first Corgi model (with windows, of course):
Just a couple of negligible marks to the paint and a couple of over-rider chips. The model retains a fine sheen.
‘LYON’ has been scratched on the base.
This model comes with its original early blue picture box. Light wear and at some time, a little blue ink has been applied to a few little rubs to disguise.
