This Foden has seen little handling over the past 60 or so years with the owner recalling it was returned by the original owner to his family’s toyshop and has been his possession ever since! Issued between 1957-60, this impressive Dinky commercial truck has a light blue 2nd type cab, chassis and hubs, fawn back. Rivetted. Displays beautifully with a gleaming paint finish. Bright baseplate (couple of tiny marks) and minor tarnishing to the area immediately surrounding the rivet.
A couple of little scuffs to the numberplate area and the occasional minuscule dot to the paint finish.
The correct striped Supertoys box with this colour version pictured is complete and brightly-coloured. A little age/handling wear.
