Notes
This is a most unusual item from Corgi in the scarce cream finish and made for just for one year only (1966). Usual colour finish is metallic blue.
This particular example is in outstanding virtually mint, original condition with a fine cream finish and a notably complete and bright bonnet logo . First issue, so metal spotlights. Please note that this is an authentic example, i.e. correct that it does not have a bonnet cast square immediately surrounding the bonnet label (only the metallic blue version has this casting detail).
So often the roof button can become pitted and tarnished – not so in this case – it is gleaming bright!
Hard to find a mark to the paint finish.
This example comes complete with the original Waverley ring, the colourful card ring and buff card packing ring. Wrap-around card packing piece, too:
The inner card stand with monochrome plinth is clean, bright and complete. A little minor wear at some wheel slots as you might expect due to model movement.
Lots of information on the UNITED NETWORK COMMAND FOR LAW AND ENFORCEMENT (U.N.C.L.E.) on box plinth reverse.
The outer box is complete, clean and bright. Presents well with very light wear.
