Notes
Issued between 1955-57, this is a striking Dinky Tanker with a fine and vibrant original paint finish throughout with intact ladder, bright baseplate and spare wheel.
‘REGENT’ letters are virtually complete – complete on both sides. Makes a lovely display piece – and worth noting this item has no retouching.
A few minor marks to the white stripe on both sides (always vulnerable to marking/discolouration).
Rear transfer is bright, fresh and notably complete.
20 mph label is still in place too at a rear wheel arch. Few little chips to the paint finish.
The striped Supertoys box is clean and complete with bright colours throughout and that includes the portion of the deep blue base not covered by the lid. Light wear.
Dated June, 1955 from the Dinky stamp inside the box lid.
