Notes
Issued between 1966-69, this Ford articulated ‘EXPRESS SERVICE’ Truck is an exciting find and the first QDT have offered for sale with a matching scarlet red cab and chassis. We expect this is due to the usual blue cabs being temporarily available – or perhaps a factory error!
Notably, this example has traces of red paint at the tractor unit coupling, ensuring that this model is most likely to have always been with this EXPRESS SERVICE Trailer.
In very close to mint condition. This truck just gleams! Complete “EXPRESS SERVICE” detailing on both sides of the bright silver, untarnished sliding doors, both wing mirrors and shiny spun wheels. Silver roof horns.
So eye-catching and it comes complete with the original mechanic figure, too.
Minor age wear to the roof horn block and the occasional little mark to the paint finish.
The bright pictorial card plinth on which the model sits has strong vivid colours.
Light wear but all wheel slot tabs are still in place and there is just one little wheel slot tear.
The pictorial end flap box is complete, clean and bright. Looking fresh and feeling crisp. Very light wear only.
