Notes
Issued 1948-52, this is a scarce British heavyweight Foden Platform Lorry is finished in green, grey and red, with a red fuel tank. Beautifully constructed, this was part of a small range of diecast constructional models made between 1948-52 by this British manufacturer. Sold with the necessary tools to take apart and rebuild, this Foden model measures 32cms x 9.5cms. approx.
Complete with spare wheel stowed underneath.
Very little chipping although there are some retouches to the cab and a few small retouches on the bed.
Especially difficult to find with its distinctive sturdy colourful card box. A difficult version to find in powder blue with informative end label. A ‘Temporary Pack’. Some wear as you might expect (rubbing and edge scuffs). Sound with no repairs. A little staining at staples.
Original tools and leaflet too including the buff card box. A now empty Shackle Pins packet is included too.
8-Ton Dyson Trailer is finished in green, grey & red with a virtually complete ‘Dyson’ transfer. Near mint plus condition with a few minor edge marks.
Complete and bright sturdy end flap box is worn now with edge rubs/ wear & tear.
