The first Qdt has ever seen let alone offered for sale. This is a breath-taking Display Stand, destined for the French Dinky shopkeeper.
French address is stamped and note that there is a Meccano Trade Mark Label, with French text too.
This eye-catching Display Stand is composed of metal and glass with a mirror finish (tiny spotting). Measures approximately 34.5 cms x 10cms. Wired, so this stand was intended to be illuminated although note that there is no plug attached to the vintage wiring and bulb holders and so is untested.
The metal has been lightly over-painted in silver at some time, so covering the grey metal finish.
