Corgi 261
Corgi 261 James Bond's Aston Martin D.B.5. Bright gold issue. Very near mint/boxed. 1st issue WITH INDICATOR LIGHT CASTING. 1st issue style box with Full Instruction Packet (although monochrome Secret Instruction Slip). From The Berlin Collection.
Notes
One of the most popular Corgi models ever, this is first issue casting, production run (1965-69). Note the indicator light casting and double side vent present on this early issue.

This James Bond Aston Martin is in all original condition with none of the reproduction accessories, rife with this issue.
The car is fully functioning, complete with both figures. Looking unused and barely handled, this example has a very close to mint, all original, vivid glossy gold finish.
Suspension is fine on all four wheels (rather dulled). Fine tread original tyres are well-shaped.
Tiny as-made paint blemish on the roof edge. Hard to find a mark besides.
The 2nd issue card plinth (i.e. with arrow on the red section where the model is placed) is complete and bright. Notably, no wheel slot tears. Minor ‘wrinkling’ to the card in one small area of the front edge. Crisp feel.
The Instruction Packet has been opened and inside you will find the badge, Instruction Leaflet (monochrome version) and spare villain.
Secret Instructions Leaflet (detail the retractable machine guns, opening roof and ejector seat, rear bullet screen and telescopic over-riders).
The 1st issue outer box is complete, brightly-coloured and clean. Note that since it is 1st issue, there is no shading detail around the lettering ASTON MARTIN DB5 on the box face and no thick black border around the JAMES BOND’S lettering, too. Light handling wear.
