Corgi 208
Corgi 208 Jaguar 2.4 Litre Saloon. Scarce milky-white version. Near mint plus/boxed. Superb example with a super box and leaflet! From The Lewes Collection.
Notes
A difficult find in this condition. This is a fine all-original example issued between 1957-60 in milky-white finish with flat spun hubs (most subtle difference when compared to the bright white issue). No suspension on these early issues. There are just a few minor marks visible on this most unforgiving of colour issues. Shiny, untarnished baseplate. Another wonderful display piece!
And what a great box! It is so difficult to find these early issues boxes in this condition. Scarcely any wear at all. Small amount of pencilled writing on one end flap and a grubby mark or two. Close to pristine colour promotional booklet/Corgi Club Membership Form too.
