Notes
1st type issue, made between 1948-52. Two-tone blue paint finish with a light blue flash and fine tread radial tyres. Nice to see that the tinplate tank is not dented or rusty.
A few little chips/marks mostly on the cab roof and wheel arches, rear of tank.
This tanker comes complete with its excellent early buff box with a paper label. Sound with no splits, although a litle rusty around the staples. Paper label has vivid colours with some age grubbiness and a neatly penned shopkeeper’s price of just 9/6!
