A rare early model to come to the market-place, and especially difficult to find boxed.
Issued between 1962-66, this Swiss export model has a striking deep yellow and black finish, with ‘PTT’ transfers at the sides. Early issue without opening doors, no glazing, silver (not jewelled) headlights, cast wheels. Shiny base generally (small dulled area) and well-shaped original treaded tyres.
Pleasing lustre.
In all original condition with just the occasional small mark.
The complete and bright, plain, yellow card box has the correct print i.e. ‘Auto Poste Suisse VW’ and ‘Schweizer Postauto VW’ at an end flap.
Light wear only.
