French Dinky 1435

It is quite a noteworthy event when a French Dinky 1435 Citroen Presidentielle in the ‘standard’ packaging comes to the market place, but this example in the wonderfully vibrant deep blue presentation box is an exceptional find.
One of only 200 made.
This Citroen Presidentielle model has a sleek two-tone grey finish, detailed flock fawn interior with driver, bonnet mounted shield and delicate French flag. Notable that all the delicate accessories are present and intact!

Number plates are complete both front and rear. Chrome is bright and unrubbed, although do note that there is a very small amount of chrome loss immediately to one side of the rear number plate. No roof chips, or rubs to the stunning paint finish.
The rich, unfaded colours of the red plinth, deep blue box base and lift off lid make this a stunning display piece. Little ‘rest marks’ (from the tyres) on the red plinth.

Couple of negligible marks on the box lid.
Complete with a clean and bright Instruction Leaflet.

Intact delicate bubble lid casing is a little light-affected now but crucially, there are no splits.

Remains of the original tape which kept the bubble in place on the box sides and base. Thankfully they have not been removed because this would probably cause surface loss.
Issued during 1971.
