Notes
Issued during 1963 with a type 3 Leyland grille, this classic Dinky bus with plastic wheels is a very difficult version to find. This example presents well with a lustrous original red and cream paint finish, treaded tyres. Sloping lettering on both sides (few little dots on a few of the letters on one side). Scratch to the letter ‘s’ on one side.
Subtle sunfading to a small section of the cab and little portion of one side. A few little marks to the paint finish on the wheel arches.
The correct lighter yellow pictorial box is vividly-coloured, crisp, clean and complete with all end flaps. Correct colour spot for this version. Close to old shop stock quality box.
