Notes
A fine, all original 1st issue example made between 1949-52 with no triangular lugs next to the number plate, early ridged wheels, and rear axle fixed by tin clips. Large unpainted hook. A beautiful lustrous paint finish in French blue and red with paler wheels.
A few of the usual little marks to the paint finish at wheel arches, one or two in the flatbed and at flatbed edges. Very bright axles and spare wheel fixing:
The correct early blue box with picture label is complete, bright and sound. A little minor age wear only, and a shopkeeper’s price label at one end.
