Acknowledged in ‘The Great Book Of Dinky Toys’, this collector in the U.S. brings his 37 year collection to QDT. Included are some very rare items and a wealth of period literature and catalogues.
1) Halfords Catalogue from 1939 – 40, with colourful cover (black and white inside pages and back cover). 13 pages feature Dinky models from this period. A little wear including some separation from one of the staples. Halfords period shop stamp (Spalding) on the back cover.
2) Shepperson Bros from 1939 – 40, with colourful cover (black and white inside pages and back cover). 13 pages feature Dinky models from this period. A little wear including staining around staples.
