Notes

The black and silver Bedford Van advertising the ‘Evening Standard’ newspaper is a familiar sight to Corgi collectors. However, this issue with transfers at the sides is a rare find. Only the second we have ever offered for sale – the first was from The Monty Calme Collection and was believed to be a trial piece. Now we have found just one other – and this example is in better condition, with complete transfers at the sides.
