Notes

A rare find – and the first we have ever offered for sale in this distinctive purplish-grey or Heather Grey shade. With correct white treaded tyres (very minor marking). Off white interior. Shiny shaped spun wheels.

Correct that the baseplate is standard for this model, as these were assembled in South Africa using English components (1963). Distinctive and correct South African rivets.

Couple of little marks to the paint finish and two stray dabs of factory silver on a front wing.
Few Dinky collections can boast one of these, correctly presented in the Arthur E. Harris South African box!

The pictorial box with Afrikaans text at an end flap and side panel has a little handling wear and one internal end flap is detached but present. Generally excellent with vibrant colours. Light age wear/grubbiness and tiny penned writing on the top surface.
One of the rarest Dinky toys you can buy!
