Corgi 261
Corgi 261 James Bond's Aston Martin D.B.5. Near mint plus/boxed. Early issue WITH INDICATOR LIGHT CASTING. 2nd issue style box with Full Instruction Packet. Very nice outer box. From The Old School Collection.
Notes
1st issue example of one of the most popular Corgi models ever, issued between 1965-69. Note the indicator light casting and double side vent present on this early issue.

This James Bond Aston Martin is in all original condition with none of the reproduction accessories, rife with this issue.
The car is fully functioning, complete with both figures.
Suspension on all four spoked wheels. Fine tread original tyres are well-shaped.
A few little marks but crucially no mark mark at roof centre!
The 2nd issue card plinth (i.e. with arrow on the red section where the model is placed) is clean, bright and crisp with vibrant colours. Couple of tiny tears at a wheel slot.
The Instruction Packet has been opened (no tears). Complete with all accessories (badge, Instruction Leaflet and spare villain).
Secret Instructions Leaflet (detail the retractable machine guns, opening roof and ejector seat, rear bullet screen and telescopic over-riders – all have been tested and work perfectly).
The 2nd issue outer box is a superb example. Note that since it is 2nd issue, there is shading detail around the lettering ASTON MARTIN DB5 on the box face and a thick black border around the JAMES BOND’S lettering, too. Crisp, showing minimal handling. Hard to find this good.
