Such an attractive item from Dinky, made between 1960-64. This particular model is dated 1960 (Dinky stamp on the inside of the box lid). The model is in two-tone yellow and orange and presents so well. Bright winding handle cuff and baseplate. Virtually perfect perfect ‘Dinky Toys’ and ‘Meccano’ lettering.
All three plastic pallets are included:
and the mechanism works well when the handle is turned, moving the sliding interior platforms so that goods (in this case the pallets) may be loaded and unloaded more easily.
Authentic Instruction leaflet included, with full instructions on how to operate the van mechanism.
Just a few tiny marks to the paint finish.
The striped SUPERTOYS outer box is bright complete. Very minor wear only.
The card packing piece as well as the *card packing ring included.
An eye-catching display piece and great fun to use, especially if you have Dinky 401 Coventry Climax Fork Lift Truck which can be used with the pallets!
