Notes

Issued between 1956-60, this sought-after early mechanical Corgi commercial model is in original condition with a working flywheel motor. Presents well with an attractive original lustre in mid-turquoise.

Note the push-fit front axle fitting. More usually found with cast bosses for the axle to slide through. Note the lettering ‘BRITISH MADE’ either side of "CORGI TOYS’ and PATENT PENDING toward the rear.
Flat spun wheels and well-shaped, as-new original tyres. Mere dot or two away from mint.

The powder blue picture box is complete and bright, if showing a little wear at edges and a small tear to an internal end flap.
An interesting and extremely interesting variation.
