Notes
A centre piece for your Dinky Collection. This eye-catching period display piece which would have been illuminated measures approx. 41cms x 20 cms x 19.5cms. This sign would have been a welcome sight to any child looking for a toy shop, the mere sight of it would surely whet their appetite.
Original hardboard in yellow with plain hardboard framework with large holes to emit the light. Brass fittings including the original chain and fixing at top centre. Original lighting holder too. Thin (and therefore fragile) white perspex rectangular centre-piece with raised ‘DINKY TOYS’ lettering in red. Some little splits to the white background perspex section and light wear besides.
