Issued during 1980, this is a late issue version of the VW Polo model, the scarce German issue ‘ADAC – Strassenwacht’.
Finished in deep yellow with a white roof and complete labels on bonnet, roof and driver’s door. Whizzwheels. Never removed from its close to pristine, late issue ‘Rainbow’ window box, we can see a few light surface marks that will (probably) clean off. Note the period price label on the underside of the box:
Note too the remains of a price label on the intact original cellophane.
One set of end flaps may need to be carefully prised open in order to secure for safe transit to the new owner.
