Issued between 1964-69, this unusual Dinky truck comes complete with all three removable ballast weights, the black prop shafts on the underside rotate when the truck is moving along – just like the real thing! The weights are nearly always quite heavily chipped and they also tend to mark the silver chassis. This example has fared much better than most! Bright and complete “Leyland On Test” paper labels on the cab. Complete with driver and steering wheel (clear glue at this point at the base so re-fitted in place at some time we assume). Complete paper label ‘ON TEST’ at the rear too. Tyres are fine, clean and well-shaped.
Closest inspection find a few dot retouches to one of the weights.
The colourful and detailed pictorial box is complete, clean and bright. No splits or repairs. Only the most minot wear. Packing card piece too!
