Corgi 2030
Set of 4 x Corgi Muppet Models. Very, very near mint - mint/boxed (pristine). With original paperwork pictured in The Great Book of Corgi, page 393, and originally the property of Marcel Van Cleemput , Chief designer for Corgi . Ephemera purchased at the Losch Auction 2000, where items belonging to the Corgi designer were auctioned. FromThe Old School Collection.
Notes
These 4 models from the range of models produced by Corgi in 1978, inspired by The Muppet Show. Each is in mint condition! They do not appear to have ever been removed from their pristine window boxes.
Remarkably fresh.
Also included are the two paperwork items – these (photocopied) items were sent to Corgi to enable the designers to create characters that were as faithful to the original muppets as possible. See page 392 & 393 in ‘The Great Book of Corgi’. Marcel Van Cleemput was very happy with the result – we have to agree!
