Issued between 1966-69, this scarce and desirable 1st issue Gift set comprises:
1) 310 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, silver, yellow interior, spoked wheels with suspension. Very near mint.
2) 312 Jaguar ‘E’ Type in brilliant chrome finish, black seating, spoked wheels with suspension. Very near mint with complete transfers.
3) 314 Ferrari Berlinetta, red, racing number ‘4’, spoked wheels with suspension. Near mint plus (chip head-on).
4) 324 Marcos Volvo 1800 GT in creamy-white, green stripes, red interior, spoked wheels with suspension. Very near mint.
5) 325 Ford Mustang Competition, white, red stripes, racing number 2, spoked wheels with suspension. Very near mint.
This set comes with the full complement of traffic cones still in the original sealed in packet, both unapplied Racing Numbers, 2 hay bales and the Corgi Club Membership Form.
Polystyrene tray is bright and complete. Virtually pristine in fact!
Outer box is complete with intact original cellophane. Some handling/age grubbiness and note that one of the internal end flaps has been re-attached. A little edge wear/corner ruffling besides.
An extremely difficult set to find, rare to come to the market place.
