Corgi Gift Set 35

Notes

A desirable 3-piece Gift Set made between 1964-68 comprising:
1) 418 Taxi in black with fluorescent orange original details , lemon interior and driver. Flat spun wheels. Near mint with a few little contact marks /rubs.
2) 468 London Routemaster Bus ‘Naturally Corgi Toys’*. Jewelled headlights. Shaped spun wheels. All original vivid red finish with complete transfers on both sides. Little creasing to the rear paper label. Peppering of marks head-on where it has come into contact with the Taxi in the box.

Policeman figure (directing the traffic) on a white circular plinth.

Delightful card plinth on which all items sit with an unmistakable London scene depicted. Virtually pristine.

Outer card box has another colourfully illustrated London scene in which both models and policeman are depicted. Vibrant, day-one colours on crisp, complete card. Crease and a couple of end flap tears. Couple of tiny pin-head sized punctures. Period shop label at an end flap. Minor wear besides. Nice to see the packing piece is still present too!
