Notes
This is the first issue of the Grand Prix Set made between 1968-71.
This example comprises:
1) Corgi 155 – Lotus Climax Racing Car. Near mint, with rubbing to chrome and a small front edge transfer nick.
2) Corgi 159 – Cooper-Maserati, with gold wheels. Near mint with chrome rubbing and marking to the nose.
3) Corgi 330 – Porsche Carrera 6 . Near mint plus, with Racing number 1. Occasional little exposed edge mark.
4) Corgi 490 – VW Breakdown Truck and trailer. White version with ‘Racing Club’ labels and spun wheels. Near mint plus with a few minor marks. Red trailer is very near mint.
Set of three mechanics. No traffic cones. Two hay bales. Corgi Club Membership Form.
Inner polystyrene tray is clean and fresh showing light wear.
Large cellophane-fronted box is complete with intact original cellophane and bright card. Crumpling and a small tear. Light wear/grubbiness.
