We are delighted to offer for sale this rare version of the early issue London Routemaster Bus.
Note the promotional transfers for ‘The London Motor Show 1972’ and ‘The Commercial Motor Show 1972’ at the sides – thankfully complete throughout. Note too the destination (Earls Court).
Yellow and clear plastic stairs. Bright detailed cast wheels with suspension. Well-shaped original tyres. Conductor and driver. Ribbed roof, jewelled headlights. Few minor marks only to the paint finish. Tiny nick to one of the ‘Corgi Classics’ labels.
The card and cellophane box is complete and strongly-coloured, with a crisp feel. Smooth original cellophane. Minor age/handling wear.
