Notes
Issued between 1957-62, this model is in fine original condition in a delicate shade of palest blue-green with a bright ‘true’ red upper section. Flat spun hubs and a shiny black gloss baseplate showing that this model was also available as a mechanical version.
Nice to see that this example does not have a roof rub! Day-one vivid colours too. Just the occasional very small mark to the paint finish.
Note the difference between this example pictured on the left with a deeper red roof – when compared with the other version with a scarlet red roof also available at QDT:
The early pictorial box is complete, strongly coloured with all end flaps intact. Crisp feel to the card. Minor handling wear and period penned prices on an end flap.
