Notes
This GMC tanker is a sought-after item indeed from the French Dinky factory issued between 1969-70 only. This particular example is in very close to mint condition. There is just one little mark to the paint finish (which you have to hunt for) and the transfers are notably complete on both sides. Paper label “Liquides Inflammables” is complete at the rear of the truck too. The filler caps on the top of the tank are always susceptible to damage – rarely are they found perfectly intact. This model has both hinged filler caps complete and intact.
The bright yellow base on which the truck sits is clean bright and fresh. Understandably, there are a couple of wheel slot tears caused by the weight of the model. Also included is another bright yellow card packing piece which protects the filler caps on the roof (a little wear).
No transfers or road sign with this example.
The pictorial card box is complete and bright, although there are a couple of small end flap tears.
