A scarce and desirable Dinky commercial. This is a 1st issue Guy Flat Truck made between 1947-48 in this rare khaki and black finish with green wheels. No triangular lugs next to the number plate, early wheels, and rear axle fixed by tin clips. Small unpainted hook.
Expected marking at wheel arches and a mere dot on the roof. Bright axles and spare wheel fixing.Note that two of the smooth original tyres have a flat spot.
The correct early buff box with picture label is clean and brightly-coloured. Fresh sturdy card is split free. Light wear.
A lovely piece of Dinky history from around 1947.
