Notes
More unusual later issue made between 1967-69, in a yellow and orange finish, yellow plastic hubs, correct that this issue has one driver (plastic). All in fine working order with an operable winch and swivelling movements.
Virtually complete – complete COLES transfer and chevrons at the rear and chevrons at the sides, too. Correct that this late issue has plastic cuffs to the winding handle. Nice lustre to the finish – and this model has largely been spared the chipping that they nearly always incur (occasional mark only). Bright baseplate, model is stamped 972.
Attractive sturdy SUPERTOYS lift-off lid box with detailed pictorial scene. Strong colours throughout – minor age wear. Notably, complete with packing card pieces which are so often discarded!
