Notes

This sought-after, early issue Gift Set (1962-66) is in very close to mint and complete condition, comprising:

1) Corgi 426 Booking Office.
With complete paper labels (slight age transparency and transfers. Attractive Smith’s Karrier Bantam Van has a vibrant red and blue finish with shaped spun wheels with suspension.

2) Corgi 438 Land-Rover
in very near mint condition with vibrant blue plastic tilt, spare wheel on the bonnet and clean paper labels on both doors. Virtually mint.

3) Corgi 1121 Crane Truck
in vivid red and yellow finish with notably unrubbed, light blue lettering and matching wheels. Couple of little ‘bloomed’ spots to a couple of the letters on one side. Very near mint condition (couple of small chips). Bright metal parts. A little probably as-made to one side window.

4) 2 x 1123 Animal Cages
with intact amber plastic roof detail and plastic sliding doors. Shaped spun wheels. Vivid red and yellow finish.

With ‘Lions’ and ‘Polar Bears’ transfers unapplied.
5) Corgi 606 Elephant & Cage on Trailer.

Very, very near mint – mint condition with a vibrant paper label.

Both sets of original animals (i.e. bears and lions) still in original sealed packets are included.
Intact and clean white polystyrene inner.
Complete with white card packing piece which fits over the top of the contents. Instruction Leaflet for the 1121 Chipperfield Crane Truck which incorporates a Corgi Club Membership Form is included. Separate Corgi Club Membership Form included too.

Colourful pictorial box is complete and clean with a full colour, vivid Chipperfields Circus scene depicted.
Little puncture has pressed back into place. Faint period Paris label and a couple of small surface scuffs. Light wear besides.
