Corgi 1144 Chipperfield's Circus Scammell Crane with Rhino Cage. Version with 'truck' cast wheels (harder version to find). Very near mint/boxed. From The Old School Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1969-72. This set comprises a Scammell Handyman MKIII in blue and red finish with a silver jib and hook as well as a rhinoceros in a plastic cage. Vibrant original paint finish, complete paper labels, detailed cast wheels (standard version). Complete and bright “Come to the Circus” label correctly on one side only. Rhino within its plastic cage with grass/straw detail with perspex packing piece still in situ.
Paint finish has a couple of small marks to the paint finish. Shiny jib.
Fragile white plastic inner has just a small seam split.
The outer box is complete and brightly-coloured with original intact cellophane still in place. End flap seam tear and light wear besides includes faint residue from a price label.
