Notes

A colourful Chipperfields item first issued in 1968.
It contains a Scammell truck with three plastic cages containing two lions, two tigers and two bears. This example has a bright red and blue paint finish, jewelled headlights and intact Chipperfields label at cab front. Highly detailed decorative labels on both sides are very, very close to mint-mint (one has just a couple of the tiniest edge nibbles).
The plastic cages are complete and intact with all animals still in their plastic ‘bubbles’. Nice to see this example still has the black elastic bands which fasten the cages to the trailer (often missing!).
