French Dinky 36B
French Dinky 36B Willeme Tractor & Covered Trailer. Near mint/boxed. Transition box. From The Cumbrian Collection.
Notes
This is the first issue (36B) issued during 1959 and marking the transition to its later numbering 896 (note that both numberings are marked at one box lid end).
This fine French Dinky model has a deep red prime mover with an orange-yellow detachable trailer with original red highlighting and matching orange-yellow painted concave wheels. Green plastic canopy and opening side and rear doors (a few inevitable little marks at the doors).
A few little marks besides. Lovely original lustre!
The box is very clean, bright and fresh-looking with minimal wear. Clean with no graffiti.
Inside the box base you will see remains of the card packing piece.
A very nice box indeed – often found with splits and heavy wear due to the weight of the model. French Dinky Quality Control stamp inside the box lid.
