Notes

Issued between 1960 -64, this attractive Bedford model has a shining two-tone yellow and orange paint finish. Bright baseplate and notably complete ‘Dinky Toys’ and ‘Meccano’ lettering Full complement of with three removable plastic pallets. Shiny winding handle, including the cuff.

A few marks at some exposed edges and a paint blemish on the front bumper ( as-made), Very close inspection finds a wheel arch touch-in.
The mechanism works well when the handle is turned, moving the sliding interior platforms so that goods (in this case pallets) may be loaded and unloaded more easily.
The striped SUPERTOYS outer box looks bright and fresh with no splits. Colours are vibrant and that includes the deep blue base. Minor wear.
