This Leyland Comet Lorry has a distinctive and scarce paint finish; French blue (not Royal blue), rich mid-brown/dark tan back and light blue wheels. Bright baseplate and axles, including the ends.
A light sprinkling of chips and one of the original grey tyres has a small indentation.
The early blue box with an orange picture label is complete and bright with no splits or repairs. Light wear and a stamped number at a short lid end. Period price.
