Issued between 1962-70, this item is part of the much-loved Chipperfields range of models – and in exceptional condition too! The Bedford TK tractor unit with trailer is as nice as you will find; such a vivid glowing red finish, late issue cast wheels, clean and complete paper labels throughout and a bright blue back (often they appear a lot paler than this!).
Obviously completely unused with just the occasional tiny/negligible mark.
Notably, both of the wing mirrors are present and complete with the little ‘reflective’ pieces. The item comes with the full complement of six grey horses, as well as the original card packing* for each horse.
The card plinth is fresh and bright, with both pull-out end tabs firmly in place and tear-free.
Clean and bright, with a couple of tiny wheel slot tears.
Nice to see that this item still has its large white card packing piece – so often discarded, as well as the small card packing piece too. Rare to find so complete.
The outer box has day-one vivid graphics on fresh, complete card. Small storage scuff on one picture side. Period price label at an end flap.
