Corgi 253
Corgi 253 Mercedes Benz 220 SE Coupe. Very near mint/boxed (230 box). Metallic maroon. Complete with both suitcases. From The Old School Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1964-68, this Mercedes model has a deep metallic maroon finish, gleaming silver trim, supple original tyres and sleek lines.
Intact emblem on the bonnet and a fine lustre. Bright shaped spun wheels with suspension, and lots of the attention to detail that made Corgi cars so popular. Two suitcases in the boot as well as a spare wheel (so often lost!).
Little roof edge mark.
The colourful, crisp fresh box (for the 230 Mercedes model – but sometimes houses the 253 since it is so similar) is quite delightful – such vivid colours on crisp card. Couple of the tiniest scuffs on one side.
