A nicely detailed set comprising Corgi 285 Mercedes 240 D in rich metallic brown, gold roof, and a light brown interior. More often found with a bright blue finish.
Assumed mint.
It is towing Corgi 490 in matching colour finish with an opening door and drop-down colourful awning.
Nicely detailed item – there is even a pot plant in the window!
The slim window box is bright and complete with smooth cellophane and all end flaps.
Couple of scuffs (one quite heavy) and a small handling tear to the card. Polystyrene inner looks clean, bright and fresh.
A very nice example of this two-piece Gift Set from 1979.
